About this experience

Discover the secrets of the City of Tromsø and our century long history with a local guide and a SMALL GROUP: Despite the maximum of 15 guests, most tours are held for smaller groups of 4-8.

On this tour, we cover the area of Tromsø within the original borders of 1794. Already before the city was formally established, there has been centuries of human activity in this area. Especially the last 230 years made Tromsø to what it is today.

In addition to a wealth of historical sites, we will also encounter statues, busts and murals, telling stories of the people who crafted their destiny in the Arctic.

The tour includes a guided tour at Tromsø's unique Polar Museum.

All regular tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays are held in English.
