We will take photos in front of one of the most enchanting and protected beaches in the world: the famous Pink Beach, one of the most spectacular natural phenomena. The Pink Beach is part of the Maddalena Geomarine National Park, an area of inestimable naturalistic interest. It is subject to a particular protection, which is why it is not possible to trample on the beach or swim on its shore. The island, located just north of Spargi, is famous for its legendary pink beach. The coral-colored beach, the chromatic intensity of the colors of the sea and the shapes of the granites that surround the cove constitute a unique spectacle in the world. A natural monument to be observed in religious silence.
The pink beach of Budelli - immortalized by the director Michelangelo Antonioni with a very long sequence in the film "Red Desert" - is located south-east of the island of Budelli in the La Maddalena Archipelago and is so defined because of its characteristic pink color coral.
The Port of the Madonna, or Manto della Madonna, is located in the northern part of the archipelago, an area between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria. it constitutes a spectacular mirror of crystalline water, a real natural swimming pool, dotted with small beaches characterized by fine white sand facing a clear and transparent sea.
In some coves you can swim while some are prohibited to preserve this miraculous natural spectacle unique in the world.
Razzoli and Santa Maria
They are almost joined by the Passo degli Asinelli. The island of Razzoli is the most exposed to the north and is striking for the majesty of its cliffs and for the shapes of its rocks, similar to Moore's sculptures.
The island has a beautiful beach, Cala S. Maria, one of the largest in the archipelago.
Port Madonna
This is how the emerald sea lagoon enclosed between the islands of Budelli, Razzoli and S. Maria is called.
It is undoubtedly the most evocative place in the Park.
A popular destination for boaters who frequent the sea in the north east of Sardinia.
In this extraordinary body of water, the Park has reserved large areas of sea dedicated to snorkelling and sea-watching activities.
The remaining time on the tour will be spent commuting between attractions and having free time.
