Step into an iconic 4-person gondola cabin with expansive windows and enjoy a smooth 8-minute ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Along the way, take in spectacular views of the town of Banff, the Bow Valley, and six surrounding mountain ranges. At the summit, soak up 360-degree panoramic vistas.

Explore the summit at your own pace with access to scenic walking paths, including the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk. This self-guided interpretive walkway leads to Sanson’s Peak and the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station, a designated National Historic Site.

When it’s time to relax, stop by Castle Mountain Coffee Co. for a drink or snack, or enjoy a full dining experience with reservations at Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen or Sky Bistro, offering elevated Canadian cuisine with unmatched views.

The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Roam Public Transit – Route 1. Ticketed shuttles run regularly with stops along Banff Avenue. Free shuttles are available May to October.

The Banff Gondola is located at the base of Sulphur Mountain at the end of Mountain Avenue in Banff, Alberta in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
• From Banff Ave, travel south to the end, turn left after the bridge onto Spray Ave. Stay right onto Mountain Ave and follow that to the end where you will find the Banff Gondola parking lot. Please note parking at the Banff Gondola is very limited.

• The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Roam Public Transit - Route 1. Ticketed shuttles run regularly, with stops along Banff Avenue. Free shuttles will be available between May to October. Visit the Roam Transit website for information at roamtransit.com.
• Last ride up 30-minutes prior to close and last ride down 10 min before closing time.
• Your voucher will need to be exchanged for a ticketed down time at the Banff Gondola, which is approx. 1 hour 20 minutes after your upload time that you have booked
