Detailed itinerary

1

Meet at our office in the fishing village of Bayahibe, the only departure port to Saona Island. Guests staying in Bayahibe village are within walking distance. After a short welcome and briefing, board a comfortable speedboat and begin your Caribbean adventure directly from the coast, without long road transfers.

2

Cruise along the impressive limestone cliffs of El Peñón, located within Cotubanamá National Park. This area is rich in history and was once inhabited by the Taíno people. Your guide will explain the cultural significance of these rock formations and share insights into the indigenous heritage of the region.

3

Stop offshore near Catuano for a snorkeling session directly from the boat. Discover colorful tropical fish, coral formations and crystal-clear waters. Suitable for beginners and experienced swimmers alike. Life vests are available, and those who prefer can relax or swim near the boat while enjoying the scenery.

4
Stop 4

Arrive at a comfortable beach area on Saona Island for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy a Dominican-style buffet served directly on the beach, including grilled fish or chicken, rice, salads and tropical fruits. Take time to swim, relax under palm trees, and enjoy the peaceful Caribbean atmosphere.

5

Continue to Playa del Toro, a wild and less-visited beach on Saona Island. This untouched stretch of coastline offers a more natural setting, ideal for walking along the shore, swimming in clear turquoise water or simply enjoying the calm away from crowded areas.

6

Cruise through the mangrove channels of Cotubanamá National Park. These ecosystems play a vital role as marine nurseries and coastal protection. Learn about their ecological importance while enjoying a peaceful boat ride surrounded by nature.

7

End the day at the famous Natural Pool, a shallow sandbank in the middle of the sea. Walk in waist-deep crystal-clear water and observe large starfish in their natural habitat. The guide will explain how to admire them responsibly without touching. A perfect final stop for swimming and photos.
