About this experience

Enjoy a comfortable ride with our Mercedes to one of the best National Park in Rovaniemi Arctic Circle, where an old forests & starting point located.

Put Snowshoes on and crossing a friendship bridge, where under is a rapid flowing along the rocks, which never get frozen in Winter.

Feel the peace of nature while step into the snowy forests & un-touched snow area. If lucky, some animal footprints are visible as well like reindeer, fox or Arctic rabbit.

Enjoy Lappish BBQ with berry tea while warm up yourself around campfire served by your guide and after we head back to Santa Claus Village on a guided tour to meeting Santa, cross arctic circle with certificate. Surely, some free time for you to explore & enjoy shopping in local souvenirs or coffee on your own pace!

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Let's start the exploration of Snowshoeing into Wildness on a guided tour. About 25m to drive from Rovaniemi city and passing Santa Village & Arctic Circle until we arrive at starting point of Snowshoeing, where an old forests & lakes located.

We will put Snowshoes on and step into the old forests, crossing among the trees and even possible to see some animal footprints(Arctic rabbit, Reindeer or the fox) while walking into un-touched snow area. Stop at nearby Laavu where enjoy Lappish BBQ & hot tea around the campfire.

After we head back to Santa Claus Village, where meeting Santa and crossing Arctic Circle line. Certainly, some free time for shopping in local souvenirs or coffee time on your own pace.

Note: total of 6h include travel time
-1h drive & back, 1h Snowshoeing, 1h of BBQ(morning)
-3h at Santa Village & free time(afternoon)
