Know Before You Go:
- Please check your email the day before the tour to receive important information.
- Please arrive strictly on time, as there are time slots for entering some attractions.
Please note that the number of attractions depends on the selected option. Tickets to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum and Gondola Ride not included on the basic 2-hour tour.
- The Church of San Zaccaria is open for visitors every day from 10 AM to 12 PM, and then from 4PM to 6PM. Tickets to the chapels and crypts can be purchased for an additional fee of 1.5 EUR.
- Church tours during scheduled events (such as the daily, Sunday and holiday masses) are limited, so the entire or parts of the church may be closed on the day of your visit. At such times, you will see the church only from the outside, or the church will be replaced with another attraction.
- It is advised to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting churches in Venice.
- The 4-hour option includes tickets for a 30-minute gondola ride, which is preceded by a short introduction about the history gondolas told by a gondolier. This attraction is separate from the walking tour and your Private Guide will not participate in it. They will escort you to the boarding point and provide all the necessary information.
- Live commentary for the gondola ride is available in English and Italian.
- Audio guide for the gondola ride is available in 7 languages: Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, French and Hindi.
- A gondola can accommodate 4-6 people. Other people may join your shared gondola ride. Larger groups will be split or we will book a traghetto ride for you. The gondolier will choose a seat for every passenger.
- Gondoliers do not approve of visitors eating or drinking in their gondolas. It is also not advisable to ask them to perform a serenade without a prior agreement and an additional fee.
- We recommend bringing an umbrella for your gondola ride to hide from the rain or strong sunshine.
