About this experience

Georgia is well known due to its unique wine making tradition which was listed by UNESCO as world heritage intangible asset. During this experience, you will learn in details the secrets of the unique technology and will sample amber and red wines from one of the best boutique organic wine producers in Georgia. Okro's winery is located in charming town of Sighnaghi, also knowns as town of Love. Our winemaker host will share her knowledge and expertise about the products. In good and warm weather, guest can have the wine tasting at charming terrace, overlooking Alazani Valley and Great Caucasian Mountains. Okro's limited production goes to export in France, Italy, UK, Denmark, USA, Australia and is sold in leading organic wine bars and exceptional restaurants.
On our way to Sighnaghi we will make a short stop in village Badiauri to a local family to savour fresh bread directly from the oven, paired with home made cheese. Guests will have some time to explore town of Sighnaghi.
