Stop 1

Your journey begins early in the morning! Your driver will pick you up and you will start a beautiful four-hour trip to Meteora!

You will visit three Monasteries. You will be allowed to enter if you are modestly dressed. Women have to wear long sleeves and skirts and if you don't have a long skirt with you, you will be given one.
Meteora is a group of six monasteries built on natural sandstone rock pillars in central Greece. The site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece. The monasteries were built from the 11th to the 20th century and are situated close to each other. In 1999, they were declared as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO due to their universal cultural importance.
