The Ria Formosa is a designated natural park and a stopping place for Flamingos and Storks. We ride from Quinta do Lago along the sandy trails through the lagoons and salt flats to Faro Island. Although not officially an island as it is joined to the mainland by a narrow road bridge that leads to a vast area of gloriously deserted beach with cafes and the chance of seeing dolphins.
Sunset, Sunrise and lunch tours can all be adapted! There is a drink stop on the Island.
