Detailed itinerary

1

We arrive to Delphi from Athens (approximately 3 hours drive with an intermediate stop) and start visiting the ancient oracular sanctuary of Apollo in Delphi, one of the most important in all the ancient Greek world. Starting from the "Marmari" with the famous tholos and the temple of Athena Pronaia, we pass in front of the Kastalia spring and head for the main area of the sanctuary.
Here, just like the ancient pilgrims we move our paths along the Holy Road that crosses the whole area of the Sanctuary towards the temple of Apollo.
From the temple we are also visiting the impressive theatre of the complex, built on the slope of Mount Parnassus and offering a magnificent view over the whole complex.
