Begin the Hike: Your ascent begins around 2:00 AM. Accompanied by your expert Bedouin guide, you will start the 2-3 hour climb up the mountain path. The cool night air makes for ideal hiking conditions. A Magical Sunrise: Reach the summit in time to find a spot and watch in awe as the first light of day breaks over the dramatic mountain ranges of the Sinai Peninsula. The view from the top, where a small chapel and mosque stand, is a truly spiritual and panoramic experience. Descent: After the sun has fully risen and you've taken plenty of photos, you will begin your descent back to the base.
