Early start (8:30) as we want to beat the traffic around the bay of Saint-Tropez. We take the highway first - passing by the roc of Roquebrune-sur-Argens - then drive down to our destination via a scenic departmental road through the "Massif des Maures". Maybe we get lucky and we manage it in an hour and a half...
We can make a halt on the way to visit Port Grimaud, known as ‘the Venice of the South', with its canals and bridges.
After our timely break in Port-Grimaud, we proceed with the last section along the bay, driving by "Bouillabaisse beach" - an insight of the beautiful beaches which the department of the Var offers...
Mingle in a unique atmosphere and understand how this fishermen’s village became a favourite for artists before attracting the international jet set. There’s plenty to do ! The art lovers will enjoy the Musée de l'Annonciade for the impressionists' works, there is also the Maritime History Museum or simply enjoy the ambience of the designer shops and cafés.
