Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima is a place of pilgrimage that celebrates the apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds: Lúcia de Jesus, Francisco and Jacinta Marto. In the Sanctuary you can visit the Church of Santíssima Trindade, and the Chapel of Apparitions.

2

Visit places in a small village called 'Valinhos', where we can visit the Casa da Família Marto and Casa de Lúcia.

3
Stop 3

It is one of the most beautiful works of Gothic and Manueline architecture. A national monument, it has been considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1983.
This architectural jewel resulted from a promise made by King João I in gratitude for the victory in Aljubarrota, a battle fought on August 14, 1385, which guaranteed the throne and independence of Portugal.

4

Located on the central coast of Portugal, land of legends and traditions, of sea and fishing, of simple hospitable people, Nazaré maintains the authenticity that inspired artists and writers. The fishing village has beaches that offer surf lovers the ideal conditions and spots to practice this sport. In 2011, the world record for the biggest wave surfed was broken - a wave of about 30mts, in 'Canhão da Nazaré', by Garrett McNamara.

Time for lunch about 2 hours, in one of the many local restaurants, to taste the Portuguese gastronomy with emphasis on fish and seafood.
Lunch not included in the price

5

Spectacular Medieval Village, famous beyond history and landscape for the famous 'Ginja'.
Here you can stroll through the narrow cobbled streets, see the castle, taste the 'ginjinha' served in a chocolate cup, enjoy the flowery balconies, the architecture of the single-story houses, and the castle walls. It is the ideal destination for a romantic getaway. Óbidos is one of the main jewels of Portugal.
