About this experience

Ourika Valley is a group of small Berber villages located on the slopes of the High Atlas Mountains and the banks of the valley.
The history of the region dates back to the sixteenth century when the Berbers and Moroccan Jews inhabited together in harmony and peace, and this Berber Jewish heritage still exists to this day and is embodied in a group of houses, clothing, jewellery and stories that tell of coexistence and religious tolerance among the inhabitants, where there is still a tomb of one of the wise Jewish teachers there who is considered a pilgrimage to Jews from all over the world.
Ourika area is considered a natural resort due to the wonderful biological and geological diversity that made the area a green paradise filled with all kinds of rare food and medicinal herbs. The harmonious sound between the purring of water, the chirping of birds and the smells of Berber food give the visitor calm and psychological comfort away from the lights and noises of big cities.
