About this experience

Look forward to spotting elephants, lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and rhinos on a private game reserve, located about 2 hours and 30 minutes’ drive (around 200 km) from Cape Town city centre. Enjoy comfortable transfers directly from your hotel before joining a shared or private game drive led by professional rangers.

Detailed itinerary

Your adventure begins with a pick up from your Cape Town hotel or a designated meeting point at around 08:30 AM. Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey of approximately 200 km from Cape Town city centre to the private game reserve, home to Africa’s iconic Big Five.

On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing non-alcoholic welcome drink before signing the consent form. A delicious buffet lunch will then be served at the main restaurant. The menu is 100% halal, with no pork products, and offers a wide variety of dishes to suit all dietary needs, including vegetarian options.

After lunch, join your ranger for a 2.5 to 3-hour guided safari drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. Get ready to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and leopards, along with many other wild animals and bird species.

If you prefer a private safari vehicle for just you and your group, this can be arranged on request at an additional cost, simply mention it when booking.

After your unforgettable Big Five safari experience, relax on the return journey as we drive you back to Cape Town CBD , with drop-off at your hotel around 18:00
