Not to mention the magnificent snow-white sandy beaches and the beauty of the jungle that covers the island.
On the breathtaking coral reef of Tanikely, we offer snorkelling or even a 10–15-minute real scuba diving experience by our special, 1 Liter mini scuba tanks!
Our guests with their tour guide can easily experience the thrill of floating directly above the coral reefs in a cavalcade of colourful tropical fish, or swimming for minutes with a sea turtle, even without a diving licence.
With our braver guests in a one-hour trek we walk around this small jewel island and admire the black sandy and rocky coast on the other side of the island.
During the day we will also visit the lighthouse which gives an amazing view to the surrounding archipelago and to Madagascar.
The trip includes a delicious Malagasy lunch on the coast in the shade of coconut palms.

Traditional Malagasy lunch in the shadow of the coconut pals, make and serve by the natives. Delicious Malagasy grilled seafood and zebu stew, or chicken dishes.
Use of Snorkelling equipment
During the tour we allways provide snacks (like local sweet and salted banana chips) and fresh tropical (seasonal) fruits, like mango, jackfruit, litchi, banana, papaya, etc.
During the whole trip we providing cooled soft drinks, water, local beer, Malagasy Coco punch and even fruit flavoured Malagasy Rums. Alcoholic drinks for 18+ people only!
We will also provide you with a local phone card and a phone, including internet which works through the whole archipelago. During the whole trip you are welcome to use it.

Detailed itinerary

Take a whole day trip with snorkelling and scuba diving, sunbathing, and an authentic Malagasy lunch at the white sandy coast of Tenikely. During the day we take an easy walk in the jungle on a path to visit the lighthouse which was built in 1805 and gives an amazing view to the surrounding archipelago and to the mainland Madagascar.
With our braver passengers in a one-hour easy trek we walk around this small jewel island and you can also admire the black sandy and rocky coast on the other side of the island. You will meet chameleons, lemurs, megabats, lizards, and plenty of other interesting inhabitants. On the coral reef which is part of the best 10 snorkel places worldwide, we offer snorkeling or a 10–15-minute real scuba diving experience using our special mini scuba tanks. You will meet giant turtles, stingrays, giant clams, a wide variety of beautifully shaped corals, and the colorful tropical fish that live among them.
You'll never forget Tanikely's fabulous coral reefs.
