It's time to get to know one of the most beautiful trails in Spain! This route is spectacular from start to finish, as it runs between gorges, canyons and a large valley. It crosses the landscapes of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Area, a gorge carved out by the Guadalhorce River, with walls that reach a depth of 700 meters. In addition, a large number of plant and animal species live in this area: with a bit of luck, it is possible to spot mountain birds such as the Egyptian vulture, the griffon vulture or the golden eagle, or specimens of wild boar or ibex.
