I invite you to visit Gulf Coast Eco Tour on our River Boat cruise and Walking Tour..

444 miles the Pearl River flows with many sites and secrets of the swamp. Travel on the Mississippi waterways in a comfortable pontoon boat, gliding into the Honey Island Swamp Louisiana.

We may See Coastal birds, alligators, and other creatures along the way. While touring, we will step off the boat to walk on a eco adventure, on a safe boardwalk trail, into the swamp. This tour is for all ages, and we have Eco-Tinker packs for the kids to identify creatures, things, and see a live demonstration.

We will see ancient cypress trees fauna, and foliage. Before we go, we will visit the remnants of a historical landmark. After the walk, we will hop back on the boat cruise to enjoy all the sights to see.

Detailed itinerary

Travelers will begin at the meeting point at the location of Gulf Coast Eco Tour in Mississippi. We will embark from the Mississippi side of the Pearl River into the Honey Island Swamp, in Louisiana. We will see river, marsh, swamp, and possibly wildlife to include alligator, birds, and other species. From the Honey Island Swamp, we will enter back out on the River to The Bogue Homa Bayou in the Upper Devils Swamp in Mississippi. We will dock with an option of going on a walking tour to see the Flora, Fauna, and visit the remnants of an old Hydropower logging Mill. We will give a live demonstration of various forms of energy to include electricity and the how water can create energy. We will spend 30-45 minutes on the walking portion of the tour. Prior to the walking tour, and about an hour and fifteen minutes on the water. The entire time for the tour is two hours. Once we hope back on the boat to head back to the dock, we will spend approximately 30 minutes on the water.

Stop 2 Pass by

From The Walking Tour, we will hop back on the boat and head back to the dock. Along the way, we will see the Honey Island Swamp and The Pearl River and the various wildlife living on the coast. While we cannot guarantee seeing alligators, the changes are high. We will dock back at the meeting point. The total time for the tour to include the walk is 2 hours.
