Be prepared to explore the natural wonders of Bariloche from the water: At the appropriate time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you on a 40-minute journey towards the coast of “Nahuel Huapi Lake”, to one of the wildest areas of the lake.
Once at “Lopez Bay”, the moment you were waiting for: Time to grab your oars and plunge in! From here, you’ll start a 4-hour high-difficulty kayak through the deep blue lake waters towards “Brazo Tristeza”, a deep glacial fjord surrounded by magnificent views, stone slopes, incredible waterfalls (especially in the thawing season or after the rains), beautiful mountains and lush forests. If you get lucky on a blue-sky day, you can also see the Tronador Mountain! If you look carefully at the rocks on the coast, you will appreciate the grooves left by the passage of the glaciers.
Kayaking on this amazing Patagonian lake, in total harmony with nature, is a breathtaking experience. After some time of paddling, we’ll share a time to relax on a quiet beach by the lakeshore, where you’ll enjoy a gourmet box lunch. **Some birds you might see during the paddling: Big macá, white heron, austral bandurria, condors, among others.
After some resting, be prepared to return to the starting point, from where we’ll have a transfer back to your hotel in Bariloche.**Transportation duration will depend on the location of your hotel.**Please note that as it is a private tour, times involved in the activities can be adapted to the travellers' preferences and/or possibilities.
