Head to the Outdoor Interlaken Shop in the late morning to meet your guide and board the coach. Sit back as you travel through the magnificent Jungfrau region to the famous mountain resort of Grindelwald.

Board the gondola Eiger Express of the newly opened V-Cableway for a spectacular ride to the Eiger Glacier station, where you change to the cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch. Stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau accompany you on the way and the imposing Eiger North Face seems to be within one’s grasp.

Once on the top, immerse yourself in the fascinating high alpine wonderland of eternal ice, snow and rock. Experience the discovery tour “Alpine Sensation” marking the 100-year anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway.

As the Jungfraujoch is covered in snow all year round, we recommend bringing a warm jacket, shoes with a solid rubber sole and sun glasses to experience all indoor and outdoor attractions. Please note that there is no possibility to rent clothes or shoes on top of the Jungfraujoch.
Routing and means of transport may have to be amended during maintenance work and depending on seasonal schedules without prior notice. A minimum stay of 2 hours on the top of Jungfraujoch is always guaranteed.
Recommendations by Jungfrau Railways to enjoy the stay at high altitude: 1) You should be physically fit and healthy. 2) Good footwear is important for getting around safely. 3) Not recommended for pregnant women from the 7th month or with high-risk pregnancies, and for children under 2 years due to difficulties equalising pressure and insufficient fluid intake.

Meet our guide in front of the Outdoor Interlaken Shop at Höheweg 95, 3800 Interlaken, next to Hotel Hapimag, close to Kirchhofer Casino Gallery.

Please note that our meeting point is NOT at the base shop of Outdoor (Hauptstrasse 15, Matten bei Interlaken).

Important notes

We kindly request that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure and wait at the Outdoor Interlaken Shop (or on the sidewalk in front of the shop if it is closed), where your tour guide will meet you. Please have your confirmation details and proof of identification (ID) ready. You may present your tour voucher either as a printed copy or electronically on your smartphone or tablet.

If you are unfamiliar with the location, we recommend allowing extra time for your arrival. Should you have any difficulty finding your way, please contact us as early as possible at +41 (0)44 710 50 50. Our team is available to assist you daily from 7:00 to 21:00.
