The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is a mosque located in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. Its name honors the first president of the United Arab Emirates, Zayed ibn Sultan Al Nahayan, who died in 2004.1 His final resting place is on the grounds next to the mosque itself.
