You’ll begin your adventure with an early morning meet and greet as our friendly crew wait for you at the iconic Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm – the beautiful and remote home of Australia’s pearling pioneers.
*Guests departing from Broome will be picked up between 4:30 - 5:00am, don’t worry you’ll be able to get some shut eye on the journey north (if you’re not too excited that is).
Feast on a delicious breakfast as we journey up the coast, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Buccaneer Archipelago, Hidden Island, Silica Beach, Cockatoo Island, Koolan Island, and more!Marvel at the ancient rock formations that date back billions of years as we cruise through the stunning Kimberley region towards Talbot Bay. Keep an eye out for an array of wildlife, including flying fish, majestic sea eagles, playful dolphins, graceful turtles, and even humpback whales. Our knowledgeable crew will share fascinating stories about the region’s history and culture, ensuring that you leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation of Western Australia’s remarkable destination.
As we approach Talbot Bay, the adventure really begins! Hop aboard our tender vessels and get up close and personal with the world-famous Horizontal Falls. Please note: The Horizontal Falls are a natural phenomenon that are ever changing dependent on tides. Due to logistics, Kimberley Day Cruise cannot guarantee the Horizontal Falls will always be flowing upon arrival. We can guarantee however that no matter how fast she flows, she’s always remarkably breathtaking to see. Please note we do not traverse the gap due to safety and cultural reasons in respect of the traditional landowners, The Dambeemangarddee people.
After all the excitement, it’s time to sit back, relax and indulge in a 7-course feast of mouth-watering Western Australian seafood and locally sourced ingredients. Our expert chef will prepare each dish with care, while you soak up the stunning views and learn about the unique geography and history of the region from our onboard guide.
As we make our way back to Cygnet Bay, say your farewells to the crew and reminisce about the unforgettable experience you just had. Jump aboard our comfortable transfer bus and unwind as you make the 2 hour journey back down the Dampier Peninsular and home to your desired destination.
