About this experience

You will see the best of Cape Town attractions on this full day tour, including a cableway ride to the top of Table Mountain where you can see Cape Town City centre, with 360 degree views of the ocean, Robben Island, the Waterfront, Signal Hill, Lions Head and the Hottentot Holland Mountain range in the distance. Afterwards you will visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and then explore the Cape Point Nature Reserve. The drive back from the Cape Point will take you along the Atlantic coastline on the renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive. We will drop you off back at the original collection point.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1 Pass by

This is your pick up location at the hop on hop off bus stop outside the Two Oceans Aquarium. Our driver will be ready and waiting 15 minutes prior to pick up.

Transfers from pick up point to Simon’s Town for the 1st leg of your trip, takes you past Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek along the coast to Simon’s Town. This transfer should take approximately 1-hour dependent on traffic conditions.

Stop 3

Spend an hour at the Penguin Colony, taking in the sights and experiences at Boulders Beach. See the penguins in amongst the large boulders on the beach or in their breeding nests, dependent on the time of the year. There is a curio shop for you to buy some memorabilia.

Stop 4

Transfers from Boulders Beach to the Cape Point Nature Reserve along the coastline gives you spectacular views of the ocean.

Stop 5

You will experience the Cape Point Nature Reserve, and see where the 2 oceans meet. Take a walk up to the lookout point or use the funecula (cost not included) or take a walk down to Diaz Beach. There are various lookout points and pathways to take.

We will take you all along the Atlantic Ocean coastline along the renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive. Transfers to the Table Mountain Cableway will take approximately 1 hr dependent on traffic conditions.

Stop 7

Enjoy a return Table Mountain cableway ride to the top of the mountain, where you will experience unbelievable 360 degree views of Cape Town City, the Waterfront and harbour, Robben Island, Signal Hill, Lions Head, Camps Bay, Clifton Beaches, the 12 Apostles and Stellenbosch in the distance.
After 2 hours, make you way down the cableway for your transfer to the original collection point.
