Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Your tour begins with a personalized pickup by a knowledgeable driver/guide, ensuring a smooth and insightful ride along the breathtaking Adriatic coast toward the Peljesac Peninsula—Croatia’s premier wine region.

2

First, you will visit the small historic town of Ston, located at the entrance to the Peljesac Peninsula. With its impressive medieval walls stretching over 5 kilometers (the longest in Europe) Ston once played a vital role as a fortification of the Dubrovnik Republic. The town is also renowned for its ancient salt pans, still in use today, and its world-famous oysters cultivated in the pristine waters of Mali Ston Bay. Whether you choose to stroll through its narrow streets or enjoy fresh local seafood, Ston perfectly combines cultural heritage with authentic local cuisine.

Stop 3

Next, you will immerse yourself in the winemaking heritage of the Peljesac Peninsula. Famous for its bold red varietals, including Plavac Mali and the legendary Dingac, Peljesac offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and stunning landscapes. You will visit three renowned wineries, meet passionate winemakers, and hear fascinating stories about the centuries-old traditions that shaped this region. At one of the wineries, enjoy a tasting paired with local delicacies such as prosciutto, cheese, and other traditional snacks. After this wine-filled experience, treat yourself to a delicious lunch at a family-run restaurant (own expense) featuring traditional Mediterranean dishes, or simply relax and enjoy a comfortable ride back to Dubrovnik.
