KËLCYRË GORGE
This magnificent gorge lies between Këlcyrë and Dragot with a length of 13 km. It forms a deep canyon with a depth up to 1,000 meters. The Mezhgoran and Dragot caves are located on the east side of the gorge. Along the river, tourists can admire many underground springs, including the Black Water of Këlcyrë, which springs from the Vjosa River creating a variety of colors. The karst springs called the “Rrepet of Këlcyrë,” which originate from underground rivers, are particularly beautiful, flowing from a height of about 80 m from the Vjosa to create magnificent waterfalls.

2

The thermal waters of Benja (Bënjë) are natural sulfur springs with water rising up through deep tectonic cracks. In total there are 6 springs with each having water following a natural way up into a stone bath. You can find these thermal baths on both sides alongside the Lengarica Canyon. The biggest and most famous bath is next to the iconic Kadiut Bridge at the start of the Lengarica Canyon, so obviously, this is also the busiest one. You can find the other, smaller baths further up in the canyon.

3

Location: The canyon is about 6 km away from the thermal baths and is a popular spot for hiking and outdoor activities.
What to Expect: The canyon is filled with crystal-clear waters and is surrounded by towering cliffs, creating an impressive landscape. The area is great for photography, nature walks, and even swimming in the river. The dramatic cliffs, caves, and lush greenery make it a must-see for adventure seekers and nature lovers.
