We will pick you up from your respective hotel at 9:00

Starting with visiting Fres Village. The unique tour of Apokoronas villages in Crete promises a delightful journey through a region rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori), Apokoronas is a picturesque area known for its charming villages, olive groves, and traditional architecture.

After our stop at Fres, we will proceed to Agios Georgios Monastery which is known for its beautiful architecture and historical significance.

Continuing on, will be heading to Alidakis Chateau, which is located at the southwestern and highest end of the village of Emprosneros, with an astonishing view of Lefka Ori and apokoronas villages.

Our last stop will be at Vrisses where you will have free time at the central square, which is shaded by plane trees and surrounded by tavernas and cafes.

Then by 15:00 we will proceed back to your respective hotel.

We will have a stop at Vrisses (free time) where you will have the chance to enjoy a meal at one of the most famous area in Crete (free time). Vrisses is a charming village located in the Apokoronas region of Crete, Greece. Nestled amid the island’s scenic landscapes, Vrisses is renowned for its natural beauty, traditional architecture, and a vibrant, laid-back atmosphere.

The village is characterized by its central square, which is shaded by plane trees and surrounded by tavernas and cafes. Vrisses is particularly famous for its natural springs, and the area is lush with greenery, including olive groves and citrus orchards. The cool and clear waters flowing through the village make it a refreshing and picturesque spot to visit.

At the southwestern and highest end of the village of Emprosneros in the prefecture of Chania and in a position that overlooks much of the northern coast and the lowland, to the foothills of the “Lefka Ori” Mountains, is the so-called Alidakis tower.

It was built by a local (unknown) landlord, when Crete was part of the Serenissima Republic of Venice. This may have happened in the 15th or 16th century.
Later, during the Turkish occupation, additions and modifications were made. After the Alidakis events of 1774, a large part of the complex was destroyed.
