About this experience

Choose this private wild road adventure over public transport. You can stop at scenic locations only accessible with private transport. You have a choice of three different routes, depending on the weather and season, and all of them are great.

Choose from the following routes:

• Furka & Grimsel Pass – summer only
• Susten Pass – summer only
• Brünig Pass – all year.

The guide will further recommend the best one based on the current situation.

This trip is a unique experience and will inspire you in different ways.

All routes include 2 CLOY stops (Giessbach & Iseltwald), Aareschlucht, & MrNoName Waterfall.

Detailed itinerary

Andermatt: The road adventure takes you from Andermatt to Interlaken. Depending on the availability of the mountain passes, there are 3 different routes. All of them are scenic. You may stop and take pictures. Restaurants and WCs are available.

Realp: This is Route 1. Closed in winter. In summer to autumn, the road is free of snow. See untouched wilderness.

Stop 3 Pass by

Furka Pass: Further into Route 1, higher we go. One of the highest passes in Switzerland reachable by car.

Photo Spot Furka Viewpoint: Excellent viewpoint on Route 1. Panoramic view of the Wallis valley.

Eisgrotte Belvédère am Rhonegletscher: If the glacier is still there on Route 1, you might opt in for a quick walk into the ice tunnel. Admission is not included.

Gletsch: Route 1 ghost settlement. We rather just keep driving.

Suter-Kehre: Crazy curves, abyss is near. Safe with local native-born guide.

Murmeltierpark Grimselpass: Grimselpass on Route 1. Known for its hydropower epicenter. There is a lake. Bring a bikini and towel if you like to swim.

Totensee: Further stop on Grimselpass.

Räterichsbodensee: Quick stop to stand on the hydro dam.

Gelmerbahn: Drive by the steepest cable train in the world.

Alpkäserei: Optional quick stop in case you like to buy some cheese.

Guttannen: Drive by a mountain village.

Innertkirchen: Quick stop for washroom. There is also an information room about the local area.

Aareschlucht: Drop at B, walk to A through a water canyon. Guide will pick you up at A. The Aareschlucht walk is 1500 meters. It's easy and refreshing. At A, there is a restaurant.

Reichenbach Waterfall: Drive by near the town station. Get the inside story from your guide.

Unterbach: Waterfall stop. See Mr. No Name Waterfall from a distance. Watch out for bees and other insects. WC available during weekdays.

Giessbach Falls: CLOY film location. The guide will lead you through a hidden track to the waterfall and point out the movie location. There is a restaurant and a nice view of the lake.

Grandhotel Giessbach: Optional: You may take the boat to Iseltwald where you re-meet with the guide. Note, this is not guaranteed due to the fact that the boat has to be in line with our timing. It might take too long to wait for the next boat. Tickets are not included.

Pier Crash Landing on You: Quick stop at the CLOY location. The admission to stand on the pier is not included. It might take too long to wait in line. Nevertheless, it's a great place to make some free pictures from an angle of the film location pier.

Stop 21 Pass by

Lake Brienz: Cruise along a scenic hidden road along the Upper Lake.

Hotel Seiler au Lac: Quick stop at Boenigen. See ducks and swans.

Interlaken: Destination reached. You just traveled from one solar system to another solar system. Also, the place you started is original. Don't be shocked by the Star Wars characters in this place, Interlaken. Your drop-off can be in or around the city. Advise the exact final address before the trip. Optinal free of charge you may be droped off at following locagions: Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Beatenberg, Spiez, Thun, Bern.
