About this experience

Private tour in village Nevlje, Kamnik. You will see the place, where was found a 30,000 year old skeleton of an Ice Age mammoth near the river Nevljica. We will show you 500-year-old Vodiskar farmhouse and museum of cultural heritage inside. In the house is an archaeological exhibition of 500+ years old foundings (coins, bones, keys, sharps...)You will see organic farming on our small family farm and our animals. Here you see beautiful nature in our village and view of Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

MUSEUM IN THE 500-YEAR-OLD FARMHOUSE. First you will see very old farmhouse with tatched roof. In the house is an archaeological exhibition and museum of cultural heritage.

MAMMOTH BRIDGE. It is small bridge under river Nevljica. It is called Mammoth bridge because here was found his skeleton.

RIVER NEVLJICA. When workers were digging a new riverbed, they found 30,000 old mammoth skeleton. This skeleton is now in museum in Ljubljana.

PASTURES AND FORESTS. Near the river Nevljica we will show you our pastures where cows graze. At the edge of the forest we will show you traditional slovenian herbs.

ECOSHOP. In ecoshop you will see our homemade organic products. Welcome

At the last point we will go back to our organic farm to see our animlas (bees, cows and hens). You can collect eggs.

Meeting point

We are located 1 km from main bus station in Kamnik. When you arrive in Kamnik, take the main road in a north-east direction and keep to the left. We are located in small village near Kamnik called Nevlje. When you see our old farmhouse than you are here.
