Detailed itinerary

1

Balinsasayao Twin Lakes is a peaceful mountain nature reserve known for its cool climate, forest scenery, and panoramic views of the twin crater lakes.

Guests can enjoy scenic viewpoints, gentle walking paths, and quiet time in nature. Optional hiking is available for those who wish, including a trail to the second lake and an observation tower with views of both lakes (weather permitting). Hiking is never required, and the visit is adjusted based on comfort, energy level, and conditions.

There is also time to explore the Fern Sanctuary and relax at the on-site restaurant, which serves coffee, snacks, and simple local dishes (not included). Time spent here is flexible and unhurried.

2

Pulángbato Falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in the Dumaguete area, set among lush greenery and red rock formations. Guests can relax, enjoy the views, take photos, or swim beneath the waterfall if they wish.

Swimming is optional and completely up to your comfort level. If you’d like to swim, bringing a swimsuit and water shoes is recommended. Towels are available to rent on-site, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Time spent here is flexible and adjusted based on your pace, weather conditions, and interest — there’s no rushing, and we stay as long as it feels enjoyable.

3

Enter the enchanting Baslay Coffee Forest and experience the freshest, most unique coffee growing in all of Negros!

This coffee farm has incredible views of the surrounding mountains all the way to the ocean and Apo Island! Relax in a three-story bamboo open-air viewing lodge while sipping the most delicious coffee and snacking on freshly-made Filipino delicacies. All coffee here is sourced, roasted and brewed on-site.

If desired, we'll take a light 30-minute stroll on the trail through the coffee forest, which is shaded by tall trees that protect the delicate coffee plants below. In addition to the red, black and green beans giving off the slightest scent of fresh coffee, you will see wild-growing rattan that the locals use to make furniture, pine trees with their needles and pinecones carpeting the ground, and maybe even some monkeys!

4

Valencia is a cool mountain town just outside Dumaguete, known for its lush forests, waterfalls, natural springs, and relaxed countryside atmosphere.

Depending on interests, weather, and energy level, visits may include Forest Camp, a peaceful nature park with swimming pools and shaded walking paths; Casaroro Falls, one of the region’s most impressive waterfalls set deep in the forest; the sulfur steam vents at Mag-Aso, where volcanic activity rises gently from the ground; or the nearby red rock hot springs, a quiet spot to relax in warm mineral water.

Activities here are always optional and adjusted to your comfort level. Some locations involve stairs or walking, while others are easy and mostly scenic. Time spent in Valencia is flexible, allowing for a calm pace, photo stops, rest breaks, or skipping locations if preferred.

This part of the tour offers a refreshing change of climate and scenery, and many guests enjoy it as a highlight of the day.
