Join a delightful one-day bus tour from Hakata to explore the highlights of Kitakyushu!

Departing from Hakata Station in the morning, the tour first visits Kawachi Wisteria Garden, famous for its breathtaking flower tunnels. After enjoying the colorful scenery, you’ll have free time for lunch and shopping at SAINTcity Shopping Mall, a popular shopping complex in Kokura.

In the afternoon, visit Kokura Castle, a historical landmark surrounded by beautiful gardens, to experience traditional Japanese architecture and history. Continue to Akiyama Farm, where you can enjoy strawberry picking and taste fresh, sweet strawberries straight from the field.

Before returning to Hakata, stop by Cosmos-kan, a popular local shop offering regional products and souvenirs. The tour arrives back at Hakata Station in the evening, completing a fun-filled day of sightseeing, culture, and local flavors.

Kawachi Wisteria Garden, located in the hills south of Kitakyushu, is a private garden renowned for its spectacular wisteria displays, featuring two iconic tunnels adorned with 22 varieties of wisteria in shades of purple, pink, white, and blue. Opened in 1977, it blooms vibrantly from late April to early May, creating enchanting walkways under cascading flowers with a sweet fragrance, and also offers autumn foliage viewing.

SAINTcity Shopping Mall in Kokura serves as a vibrant shopping and dining hub, providing ample free time for lunch amid diverse eateries and retail stores catering to shoppers seeking fashion, souvenirs, and local cuisine.

Kokura Castle, a historic landmark in Kitakyushu rebuilt in the early 1950s after wartime destruction, features striking white walls, a multi-tiered keep, and surrounding moats with beautiful gardens showcasing seasonal cherry blossoms and seasonal foliage.
