Jungfraujoch Private Tour – Top of Europe & Lauterbrunnen Valley

After meeting our guide in the hotel lobby, you will depart for the town of Grindelwald. The entire journey takes about 1h50 from Zurich, but it may take less time depending on the city you are departing from. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming villages and breathtaking views of lakes and mountains.

On the way to Jungfraujoch, we passed through the city of Grindelwald.

Upon arriving at Grindelwald Terminal, you will board the Eiger Express cable car. This modern gondola offers a scenic 15-minute ride to the next station, Eigergletscher. Along the way, large windows provide a spectacular view of the Alps, with snow-capped peaks, valleys, and steep slopes.

At Eigergletscher station, you will disembark from the cable car and proceed to the next part of the journey, boarding the train to continue your alpine adventure.

Aboard the train bound for the mountain's summit, we'll embark on a 25-minute journey to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. Midway, we'll make a stop at Eismeer station to admire the breathtaking glaciers.

Eismeer (Sea of Ice): Explore the fascinating glacial world of Eismeer, also known as the Sea of Ice, where you will be amazed by the glacier landscapes.

Admire stunning views of the valley before ascending to the majestic Jungfraujoch, situated at an impressive altitude of 3,454 meters above sea level. Situated in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland, this high-altitude alpine desert holds a prominent place on UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage list. Delight in the attractions and panoramic scenes during an approximately 2 hours, which can be extended.

The Sphinx Observatory is one of the most iconic spots at Jungfraujoch, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding region. It’s a great place for photos and to admire the vast alpine scenery, with access via a suspended viewing platform.

nside the mountain, you can explore the Ice Palace, a maze of tunnels and sculptures carved out of ice. The blue lighting and frozen sculptures create a magical and unique atmosphere.

After visiting Jungfraujoch, the top of Europe, we will leave by car in comfort towards the village of Lauterbrunnen and the valley of the waterfalls.

After visiting these two incredible cities, the tour will end at the initial starting point.
