About this experience
Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town located just over thirty miles west of Shanghai in the Qingpu District making it very easy to visit and perfect for a day trip or even a half day trip. The history of Zhujiajiao goes back 1700 years and the town features architecture dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is filled with a network of canals and small cobblestone streets as well as thirty six bridges of different shapes and sizes.

What you'll see
You will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Shanghai in the late morning.
After 1-1.5 drive out of town, you will reach Zhujiajiao Watertown. You may walk down the old town, try some local snacks and boat ride, even have a traditional Chinese lunch by the canal. Enjoy your time in so called "Chinese Venice".
Your driver will patiently wait for you for a few hours, and bring you back to your hotel in downtown Shanghai.
