Robben island is an Island on the Table bay.It's best known as the site of maximum security prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated during apartheid.Mandela served 18 of his 27 years in prison sentence on the island and it has become synonymous with the struggle .It is now a World Heritage site and museum offering daily tours.You will disembark at Murray's Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the island and take a short walk to the buses that will take you to all historical sites around the island .

Visit these cute penguins in their natural habitat and meet some of them along the boardwalk ,they love being photographed with the visitors ..Its best sightseeing for African penguins and boulders beach.we will take a walk along the boardwalk to the official penguins colony location to see the penguins in thee natural habitat .Boulder's penguins colony is home to approximately 3000 African penguins who spend there days frolicking in the false bay waters ,basking in the sun and parading on the granite boulder's.

Your tour guide will share history about the two Beacons known as the Bartolomeu Dias beacon and the Vasco Da Game beacon.Cape of good is the most South Western Point of the African Continent, with two currents, warm agulhas & cold benguela.

At this point most travelers take the option of a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse.
