Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, located in Seogwipo on Jeju Island, is a renowned natural attraction known as “The Pond of the Gods.” According to legend, seven heavenly maidens descended from the sky to bathe in its clear waters. The waterfall lies within a lush valley formed by volcanic activity, where spring water flows through dramatic basalt cliffs into a serene emerald pool.
The site consists of three connected waterfalls. The first fall drops into a deep pond surrounded by subtropical forest, while the water continues gently to the second and third falls before flowing toward the sea. Even during dry seasons, the area remains beautiful thanks to its unique lava rock formations and tranquil atmosphere.
