Stop 1

A shelter to the extensive artifacts unearthed during excavations at the Delphi oracle and its vicinity, the museum is located adjacent to the archaeological site, and is one of the top must-see museums in Greece due to the breadth and quality of artifacts it includes that covers over a thousand years.

Stop 2

Walking up the mountainside, you’ll discover the Temple of Apollo, the god of music, harmony, light and healing, which is supported by a huge retaining wall built from limestone polygonal masonry, known as the Ischegaon (“that which retains the earth”), and boasts around 800 visible inscriptions.

Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, explore the ancient ruins and enjoy a local meal or a coffee in a quaint nearby village before returning to Athens.
