Enjoy a scenic cruise through one of the Mogami River’s most dramatic sections. Gentle currents and towering cliffs reveal a landscape shaped by centuries of river culture, offering a peaceful yet memorable experience surrounded by natural beauty.

Please note that the Mogami River boat cruise is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. If your tour date falls on a non-operating day, we will arrange an alternative cultural stop in the area.

Enjoy handmade 100% buckwheat soba served inside a beautifully preserved thatched-roof house. Araki Soba is the only restaurant in Tohoku recognized by the French gourmet guide “La Liste,” offering an authentic taste of regional craftsmanship. If you prefer another meal, your guide will happily take you to a different local restaurant.

Stroll along the zelkova-lined walkway beside the historic Sankyo Warehouses, one of Sakata’s most iconic scenes. Then visit Yume-no-Kura next door, where local snacks, crafts, and specialty products offer ideal opportunities for memorable gifts.
