As we travel from Cape Agulhas, we will stop in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley just inland from Hermanus. This valley is known for its wineries, and we recommend a tasting at either Creation Wine Estate or Hamilton Russell Vineyards. Hermanus is also a prime spot for whale watching during the season from June to November, so keep an eye out for southern right whales along the coastline.
