Your driver will pick you up at your hotel as you set off for your private day trip to Normandy. About halfway through our drive, we’ll break at a rest stop where you’ll be able to freshen up and grab a coffee or snack.
You will have the chance to explore the Utah Beach Landing Museum inside a well-preserved German bunker, view the Higgins Boat monument commemorating the amphibious landing craft, and pay respects at the Utah Beach Memorial before going back to the bus to head to your next destination.
Upon our arrival at our first stop, Utah Beach, you will have a break to enjoy lunch. Lunch isn’t included in this experience, but you have the option to order anything you like from the menu. Le Roosevelt is a casual brasserie filled with wartime memorabilia and offering a mix of classic French fare and American comfort food.
The second part of your trip will be Omaha Beach, where you’ll be able to explore the visitor’s center exhibits. You will also have time to wander around the cemetery before boarding the bus back to Paris.
Enjoy a relaxing ride back to Paris, with another rest stop halfway to stretch your legs. Take this time to reflect on everything you have seen and learned during your day in Normandy. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel.
