We will pick you and your luggage up from your hotel 15-30 minutes before Anchorage departure. Specific timing to be confirmed the day before. This will be a small group transfer and tour en route to your cruise ship in Whittier. Transportation will be in a comfortable 15 passenger van (with a max of 12 guests). If you have more than 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag per person, please contact us beforehand to ensure we can accommodate you & your luggage.
After hotel pickups, we will depart down the scenic Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet including a photo stop to take in the spectacular vistas. An approximate 1 hour drive will bring us to one of southcentral Alaska's best attractions - the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. We will guide you through part of the center as well as give you a little free time to explore on your own. After 1.5-2 hours at the wildlife center, we will drive through the beautiful Portage Valley on our way to stage for an interesting one-way tunnel that will lead us 2.5 miles through Mount Maynard and into the tiny port town of Whittier, AK. Drop off will be right next to your cruise terminal promptly after arrival into Whittier. Approximately 3.75-4 hours total duration.
