We will meet and end at Pokai Bay Beach Park, a local family friendly beach. The beach is sheltered and offers placid conditions year round perfect for rinsing off after a hike. Get off the well worn path for an aerial view above Ka'ena point state park. I will meet you at Yokohama bay, and we will begin by walking towards the point. But when we reach the nature preserve is when our adventure will really begin. I will guide you to a hidden trail up the ridge line, a narrow path between tall grass, with small climbing sections over old military view points. The top of the ridge unlocks incredible views and an epic memory you'll hang on to forever.
After working up a sweat hiking to the high point over Ka'ene point and before returning to town, we can rinse off at Makaha beach, an iconic surf spot and popular sunset viewing beach on the West side.
