Detailed itinerary

1

The first basin of Lake Como, which embraces the city, is a true treasure chest of elegance and beauty. Starting from the heart of Como, with its lively squares, the Duomo and the lakefront, a path dotted with wonders opens.

Villa Olmo, with its sumptuous gardens overlooking the water, is the architectural protagonist of the area, often home to exhibitions and cultural events.

Continuing towards Viale Geno, you will pass beautiful private villas and charming hotels, nestled between the green and blue of the lake.

️ Among the most beautiful residences are Villa Geno, Villa Saporiti, Villa Gallia and Villa Parravicini Revel, all visible from the lake and immersed in a timeless atmosphere.

A boat tour in the first basin offers a unique perspective on Como, between art, history and postcard landscapes.

2

Blèvio is a small jewel nestled between lake and mountains, just a few minutes from Como. Refined and quiet, it offers spectacular views of Lake Como, especially from the lake, from which you can admire elegant historic villas hidden in the greenery.

Among these stands out Villa Troubetzkoy, once a noble residence, now a charming private residence with romantic charm.

Blèvio is perfect for those looking for tranquility, authentic beauty and close contact with nature and elegance of Lake Como.

3

Nesso is a charming village suspended between rock and water, famous for its spectacular Orrido di Nesso: a natural gorge where two streams join to form a raging waterfall that flows directly into Lake Como. Viewed from the medieval bridge of Ponte della Civera, the waterfall offers one of the most suggestive and photographed views of the lake. A magical place, where nature and history blend in perfect harmony.

4

The Comacina Island is the only island on Lake Como, a small jewel of 600 meters long and 200 wide, surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation. Located in front of Ossuccio, it can only be reached by lake and offers a suggestive archaeological park with the remains of ancient churches and fortifications.
Once a strategic and religious center, the island was destroyed in 1169 during the wars between Como and Milan. Today it is a fascinating place, ideal for walks in nature and to discover the millenary history of the Lake.

5

Bellagio, nicknamed "the pearl of Lake Como", is a charming village located on the tip of the promontory that divides the two branches of the lake, offering spectacular views in every direction. Its narrow cobbled streets, picturesque staircases and elegant historic villas create a romantic and timeless atmosphere.
Highlights include the Villa Melzi Gardens, a fine example of an English garden with neoclassical statues and exotic plants, and the Villa Serbelloni Park, accessible through guided tours, which offers stunning views of the lake and houses the Rockefeller Foundation. Punta Spartivento, at the end of the village, is the point where the three branches of the lake meet, giving one of the most suggestive views of the area.

Villa del Balbianello is one of the most iconic and scenic residences on Lake Como. Located on a promontory in Lenno, it seems suspended between sky and water, surrounded by terraced gardens and spectacular views.

Built in the 18th century, it is famous for its timeless elegance and has hosted writers, explorers and even international film sets, including Star Wars and Casino Royale.

Reachable by boat, it is a must for those seeking beauty, history and a touch of cinematic magic on the lake.

7

Villa Pliniana, built in 1573 in Torno, is one of the most fascinating residences on Lake Como. Surrounded by lush nature and overlooking the lake, the villa takes its name from the intermittent spring described by Pliny the Younger in the first century AD.C. Over the centuries, it has hosted illustrious figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, Napoleon and Gioachino Rossini. Today, after careful restoration, Villa Pliniana is an exclusive residence that combines history, elegance and mystery in a breathtaking setting.

8

Villa Passalacqua, located in Moltrasio on the shores of Lake Como, is a sumptuous 18th century noble residence transformed into a luxury hotel. Purchased in 2018 by the De Santis family, the former owners of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, the villa has been restored with meticulous attention to detail, offering 24 rooms and suites distributed in three buildings, surrounded by three hectares of gardens that slope down to the private pier.

The villa has hosted illustrious people such as Vincenzo Bellini, who composed some of his most famous works, including "La Sonnambula". In 2023, Villa Passalacqua was named “Best Hotel in the World” by the World’s 50 Best Hotels ranking, recognition that celebrates its combination of historic elegance and modern comfort
