Detailed itinerary

1

We start at the winery’s headquarters. Here it is where, in the end of the bike tour, you’ll have the guided visit in the cellar and the wine tasting. We start off always offering a cup of coffee then proceed to the bike fitting and safety talk. Before leaving, since the place sits at a hilltop, we’ll have time for pictures and some storytelling.

2

As we enter the gravel roads that are typical of the territory, we'll make a quick stop for storytelling. Our guide will give you a brief introduction to the Marco Carpineti's family history, the 7 hills of the Capolemole Estate and talk about biodynamic/organic farming practices that are undertaken by the farming company

3

After using the power of our Ebikes to reach the top of a hill, we'll take in a magnificent panoramic view to the historical village of Cori. Here you'll get to know a little bit of the village's relation to the ancient Greece and afterwards to imperial Rome.

4

We'll cycle through the old railway binaries, nowadays converted into a gravel road, and go past the old station building and a historical site concerning the second world war.

5

From this place take in a splendid view to the Rome's inactive volcano and learn its relationship with Marco Carpineti's terroir, rich in minerals that grant his wines the freshness and the sought after minerality characteristic.

6

Welcome to the Marco Carpineti's Bubbles Park! Here we'll make a longer pause to freshen up from the cycling, take some water, eat some snacks, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and explore the Estate from which the grapes of the sparkling wine, Kius, are harvested. Restrooms are available in the venue.

7

Returning to the meeting point we'll pass by this ancient mill that has been converted into a lodging facility. Here you'll be immersed in a landscape dotted with vineyards.

8

The tour touches this neighbourhood of Cori, where you can realize how real "coresi" live their lives and maybe get in touch with locals.

9

A pause for sightseeing. From here you can contemplate the wine cellar and the surrounding hills, dotted with vineyards, the Lepini Mountains as a background and also have a glimpse at the historical village of Cori. After taking some pictures in the vineyards, it is time to cross its lines to get back to the meeting point.

10

The Ebike tour comes to an end here and the guide will salute you. Before joining the winery guides for the cellar guided tour and the wine tasting paired with local delights, you'll have time to freshen up, hydrate and get ready to continue the experience.
