Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

You will be transported to the impressive city of Chichen Itza, where a guide will walk you through the spectacular Kukulkán temple, the Mayan observatory, the great sacred Cenote, and many more attractions.

2

To prepare you to fully experience the Mayan culture, we will make a cultural stop in a village en route to Chichén Itzá. There you will see how traditional Mayan handicrafts are made, taste corn tortillas freshly made by hand, and delight in the flavor of Xtabentun (a typical regional liquor naturally made from honey and anise). With your visit to this town, you’re not only participating in the yet alive Mayan culture, but you also will be supporting a local English language school for Mayan children.

3

The day will continue with a buffet style lunch experience highlighting regional dishes, and a traditional Mayan dance performance.

4

Next, you will be allowed to explore the pure and clear water of a Cenote within a Hacienda.

5

Experiencing the city of Valladolid is the perfect ending to this day adventure. Our guides are extremely knowledgeable and will share the impressive history of Valladolid with you. Here you will also visit the Saint Servatius cathedral from the XVI century and the main park, where you’ll be able to rest and enjoy typical candies, gelato, and many more attractions from this wonderful city.
