About this experience

Departing Broome flying over the beautiful turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay, the Fitzroy River, heading to the East Kimberley.

Fly around the Bungle Bungle Massif, before landing at the Bellburn airstrip.

Meet your local tour guide and join your fellow travellers on this unique small group guided tour. First, your guide will drive you closer to the Bungle Bungle range. Walk amongst the famous eroded towers and black and orange banded beehive structures on the Domes Walk. Your guide will take you into Cathedral Gorge. Walk along the sandy bed of Piccaninny Creek. Learn about the Kimberley climate, the 6 seasons and unique flora and fauna so important to the traditional custodians of the land.

A small cooler bag with your lunch is provided. Total walking is approx. 3km. There are some steps and sandy areas on the walk.

On your flight to Broome, fly over the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges, the Napier Range a Devonian Reef.

Overfly the mighty Fitzroy River, the Fitzroy Crossing township and the stunning Geikie Gorge enroute to Purnululu National Park.

Stop 2

Fly the scenic pattern around the Bungle Bungle Massif, before landing at the remote Bellburn airstrip.
Walk amongst the famous eroded towers and black and orange banded beehive structures on the Domes Walk. Your guide will take you into Cathedral Gorge, where the towering cliffs open up to form a space with awe inspiring natural acoustics. Walk along the sandy bed of Piccaninny Creek, which flows only in the monsoon waterfall season. Learn about the Kimberley climate, the 6 seasons and unique flora and fauna so important to the traditional custodians of the land.

Enjoy a local bush tucker loop and a walk into the awe-inspiring Cathedral Gorge and then the Lookout for some of the best views of the park. A light pack is provided with your drinks and lunch to be enjoyed in Cathedral Gorge, whilst your Gija guide sings the ancient songs of her country.

Stop 4 Pass by

On your return flight to Broome, fly over the spectacular Wunaamin-Milliwundi Ranges, Devonian Reef Conservation Park and Windjana Gorge.
