Enjoy the freedom of exploring Île d’Orléans on a regular bike. Follow a suggested scenic loop or design your own route and experience the island’s countryside at your own pace for a healthy ride.
Explore Île d’Orléans at your own pace with a 4 hour regular bike rental. Pick up your bike at Quebec Aventure Tours and receive a safety briefing and bike adjustment before heading out.
You’ll be provided with a suggested 24 km loop toward Sainte-Pétronille, but you are free to ride at your own rhythm and create your own itinerary. Cycle through villages, farmland and scenic viewpoints overlooking the St. Lawrence River, stopping whenever you like for photos or local discoveries. Tastings are available along the way but are not included.
Île d’Orléans has no bike lanes; riding is done on the paved shoulder of the road. Please arrive 30 minutes before your rental time and dress appropriately for the weather.
TO KEEP IN MIND:
9 h and 11 h departures reward early birds with peaceful mornings before the crowds arrive. 13h 30 is our most popular slot for vacationers who sleep in and love wine and ice cream tastings. 15 h 30 is more affordable, still offers plenty of daylight as shops close at 18 h and before the late-afternoon exodus. There is an elevation gain of about 150m from the tip of the island to our place.
