About this experience
This is a Sound and Light Show at Purana Qila, meaning the Old Fort in New Delhi. The show is called Ishq-e-Dilli or for the Love of Delhi. It takes place in the evening and is impressive and highly visual. The one-hour performance begins with the illumination of the South Gate or Humayun Gate.

You will be picked up from your hotel in New Delhi and brought to the Old Fort in an air conditioned vehicle.
Purana Qila, or Old Fort is the venue for the sound and light show. This region once flourished as the “Sixth City of Delhi“. It was loved, cared for, plundered and abandoned through its years. This show will take you through that history. The unique ambience, special lighting effects and the intense narrative makes this journey through the city’s history an immersive experience.
Using laser beams and light projections on the walls of the Humayun Gate, a condensed story of Ishq-e-Dilli unfolds. The story takes you through the legends of rulers and Delhi’s history over the last 5000 years. The accompanying soundtrack complements the surroundings and the voices of show are suitably dramatic and mysterious. You will be captivated by Delhi’s enchanting history.
At the end of the performance, you will be driven back to your hotel in New Delhi in your air conditioned vehicle.
