Ghungroo is Delhi’s one and only dinner theater. The musical, Sounds of Yore, is a unique, immersive dance show. It tells the story of Delhi through the centuries as the seat of power and presents its impact on the cultural landscape of India. You will be picked up from your hotel in Delhi and brought to the Parsi Anjuman Theatre for your Ghungroo show and dinner. It showcases the history and spirit of Delhi, through dance, all in an hour’s time. The setup is artistic and the performances and dances are elegant. The animated format is an interesting way of sharing Delhi’s history. Delhi, the doorway to India and the seat of many empires, has a past as glorious, varied and colorful as the nation it represents. We will hear enchanting tales of power, conquest, revenge, devotion and love.
This is followed by an authentic Indian Barbecue dinner at Angare Restaurant, that presents Indian gastronomy in its purest form. Traditional recipes are offered that are centuries old and originated in Royal Kitchens in India. The food is slow cooked, delicately spiced, with subtle aromas and served the way it was meant to be: Straight from the fire.
After dinner, you will be brought back to your hotel in Delhi.
