Start off with a delightful morning tour to romantic Heidelberg. We will visit the Heidelberg Castle ruins high above the valley and landmark of the city. Take a walk through the large, impressing courtyard with its medieval residential buildings. From the large terrace you will enjoy a fantastic panorama view over historic Heidelberg. In the cellar vaults we show you the largest wine barrels worldwide.

Stop 2

On a walking tour through the crooked alleyways of the beautiful old city centre of Heidelberg you will come to see the Karl's Gate and the Old Bridge, the House of the Knights and the Church of the Holy Spirit - to mention only some of the important sights.

In the afternoon we will explore the UNESCO Wold Heritage site Upper Middle Rhine Valley with its vineyards and picturesque small towns. See the mighty medieval castles - the area has the highest density of such buildings in Europe. Enjoy an entertaining lesson in the history of wine growing of the valley dating back to ancient Roman times along with some small tastes of local wines. One of the top highlights is the river cruise on one of the traditional Rhine steamers. Dinner in a beautiful restaurant right at the riverside. Ride back to Frankfurt.
