10 :00 a.m. Arrive in the community of Cocachimba to buy your lunch in case you haven’t and pay the entrance tickets before starting the hike.
10 : 30 a.m. Start walking to the base of the second fall of the Gocta Fall, for approximately 3 hours, amid lush vegetation of the cloud forest, inhabit the national bird of Peru (Gallito de los rocas), Emerald Tucaneta, Spatulatail Hummingbird, Tangaras and other bird species. You can also appreciate butterflies, orchids, bromeliads, mosses which make this route an unparalleled sight.
02 : 00 p.m. Return to the community of Cocachimba.
04 : 30 p.m. Lunch in Cocachimba, then return to the city of Chachapoyas.
06 : 30 p.m. Arrival in the city of Chachapoyas.
