Scenic Coastal Ride (Approx. 1 hour):
Kick off the adventure with an exhilarating ride
along the stunning coastline of Hersonissos, where
you'll be captivated by breathtaking views of the
azure waters to the mountains of Crete.
1st Stop: Skotino Cave for aprox. 15 minutes. (Skotino Cave in Crete is renowned for its stunning stalactites and stalagmites. It holds historical significance with artifacts from ancient times, suggesting it was used as a sanctuary or place of worship. The cave is both a geological marvel and an important archaeological site.)
2nd Stop: Viewpoint: Pause for a 5-minute photo stop at a scenic viewpoint from the top where there you can clearly see Dia Island (Dia Island is a part of the Natura 2000 network, located off the coast of Crete, is steeped in history and mythology, believed to be the ancient sanctuary of Zeus. This uninhabited, rugged island is unique for its rich biodiversity and significant archaeological remains, including Minoan ruins, making it a hidden gem of myth and nature.)
3rd Stop: Adventure Off-Road to Voritsi: Experience an exciting off-road route leading to the village of Voritsi for 5 minutes (photos and short rest)
4th Stop: Olive Oil Mill & Rakokazano: Visit a traditional olive oil mill and rakokazano (distillery) to learn about local production processes. Discover local production techniques and enjoy tasting Cretan traditional olive oil light snacks.
